The Box

Topic: DarkPoetry

Forsaking smile for tears
Fueling flame with words
Drowning pools of blood
Shaking innocence inside out
Mental awareness starving energy
Breaking the day away from dawn
Shattering glass to control time
Mindless game, toying ways

Awaken the day
Falling without hope
Tell me what’s inside
What’s in it for me?

Cruel laughing in my mind
Giving new meaning to hope
Falling circles cloud my vision
Can you tell what’s wrong?
Bleeding for new found hope
Hanging on for all tears
Don’t look back when I fall
Just mourn that I was here
To hate you all inside

Awaken the day
Falling without hope
Tell me what’s inside
What’s in it for me?

Great minds think alike. I have a poem I have yet to release called the box. In my poem people admire the outside of the box but never look inside. This however is truly deep. I have missed reading your poetry. I remember when I got that one idea from you for a song. You have great talent. Good writing.

To answer your question honestly, pain, love, happines, suffering, betrayal, and death not exactly in that order.
