There is nothing left for me
Cry yourself to sleep at night
Pray that things will be all right
Close your eyes, block out the sound
You’re suffocating underground
I see old pain still in your eyes
You stare blankly at the sky

| It hurts to see someone else hurt ... stars still blinking but we know in our heart that they're gone .. that's how this poem sounds to me ... and like you'd rather not watch it fade slowly away ... great write. |
