What I want

Topic: LovePoetry

When men look at me
all they see are my breasts
and they think
they can get me in bed

They won't take the time
to know who I am
through my mind
and my heart instead

It's true there are things
I look at on a man
strong arms, sparkling eyes
and sweet smile

Though what's important to me
is how he makes me feel
his humor, his heart
and his style

What I want is a guy
who has faith in the Lord
self-control, honesty
and is kind

What I usually get
is a player who lies
breaks my heart
and plays with my mind

I wish I could find
a man with a job, a car
and some pure common sense

My dream is to have
a husband and kids
and a house
with a white picket fence
