home is where the heart is, or so that's what they say
then why is there no love, in this sad, dull, dark place?
my home is somewhere warm, where I'llfeel happy everyday
and when the joyus sun beams, as smile will creep opon my face
this rainy little town, where nothing ever changes
surley cannot be the place i am to stay!
at home there will be music, played by beautiful angels
oh why can i not be, in that place today!
the rain pours down on me, echoing my tears
the wind pushes past me, telling me just to leave
the darkness of the storm, reminds me of how its been these past years
making me certain that if i went, nobody would grieve
could i just leave this wicked place, and finally leave here?
why not? i would finally feel happiness
i would be at peace at last, and have nothing left to fear
so okay iv made my choice, im going to the place with no sadness
