19April2005

Topic: LovePoetry

Why is there loneliness inside of the darkness?
And why does my heart ache with pain?
And why can't I feel what's around me
When everything drives me insane

No matter how hard I fight it
And no matter the words that I say
The light will always get darker
And the night will shut out the day

It isn't so lonely without you
As the first time that you went away
But my heart still grieves without you
What was black and white is now grey

I see forward to our future
When all things are settled and hushed
We no longer will have to shed tears
Or do everything we want in a rush

"I love you" could never spell out,
all that it could entail
Nor could it define all the answers
along life's narrow trail

Can we find peace when we're empty
And the pain is always inside?
Perhaps,
but only when God stands beside us,
to take us on destiny's ride

Oh wow!! You're Steve's wife! How beautiful...The two of you write such lovely poetry...So very romantic! I enjoyed reading this poem, and the love you two have for each other is obviously so very deep and nurturing...This is a wonderful write, and my favourite line was this;
"I love you" could never spell out
all that it could entail...

How absolutely true...Lovely write.

Scorp.
