The snow softly glistens in the moonlit sky,
As I sit and watch in amazement and wonder why?
They fall so lightly and then touch ground,
It is so calm and white as I look around.
This is what true beauty is to me,
So light, so soft, so beautiful to see.
They touch my face, and make me feel,
So alive, apart of nature, so real.
They do not die when they touch the ground,
For if you look they are still around.
They find their way back to the clouds in the sky,
And fall again, they never die.
So when I leave this earth you see,
A snowflake is what I want to be!
