Presence

Contributed by Willofree on Monday, 18th July 2005 @ 10:48:30 PM in AEST
Topic: spiritual

I hear you Lord in the quiet solitude
Everywhere is your presence seen
The beauty of a new day dawning
The anticipation of the unforeseen

The caress of a gentle breeze
The filtered sunlight
The sparkling water
The beautiful trees

The sounds and scents of nature awakening
The time to appreciate the moments, no mistaking
Allowing the experience to unfold
Not forcing rushing or trying to control

Notice the world slowing down
So we can better appreciate what's around
Slowing the pace to an observation mode
So in our searching we avoid getting into overload

I'd venture even our guardian angels are pleased
To spend time in the pleasantness of this quiet reprieve
Perhaps by joining with you this morning Lord
Your presence I can feel in total accord

As I wipe away my tears
That I shed while sitting here
I'll try not to spoil the moment
Other then to say, it was a glimpse into fulfillment

Nicely done, you well captured how nature seems to put His children back in touch with Him... spending time in His creation helps us to remember the awesome God we serve.

Beatiful write. All to often so many of us forget to stop and take a look at the beauty around us. Thank you for sharing this moment.

Shannon

P.S. - Related to Nazzy ... not in every sense ... we have been together for 13 years and share a couple of children.

*smiles*
