She lives of free and unordered way
My task being naught but to catch her.
So elusive is she that each and every day
At best I can do no more than match her.
Through wood and on plain and mountain high
Our game is unlimited in scope.
To catch her on wind, snag this beauty from sky
To make her mine is my only hope.
I've fought and I've trialed, all for this one
Her capture meaning so much to me
Yet I may as well try throwing arms 'round the sun
For all her spirirt, her soul, she is free.
Our story is held in the midst of this all
Filled with the harmony of romance
And though she does run when I come to call
Our chase is but a beautiful dance.
