Topic: selfstruggles

i tried to look happy,
i have tried not to cry.
can you tell in my eyes,
that all my happiness is a lie.

i don't want to hurt you,
but i can't stop somehow.
everytime i stab you hard,
i tell myself to take a bow.

who is person when i look in the mirror.
and what has she done with the me i used to know.
i think that very soon,
it is time for this monster of a person to go.

i hate pretending so much,
i hate doing what i do.
i wish i could change for good and not bad,
just as much as i wish i were with you.
