It breaks you down
Whether your a man or a woman
Doesn't matter who you are
A cashier or a CEO
It is not blinded by prejudice.
It breaks anyone down.

The types that it comes in are all
Colorful.
Effects all aspects of your being.
Your body
Your mind
Your soul

Your body experiences
Disease
Sickness
Cancer
It breaks you down.

Your mind experiences
Intellectual struggles
Depression
Anxiety
It breaks you down.

Your soul experiences
Relationships with people and
Above all
LOVE
It breaks you down.

People try to find solutions to this problem in
Alcohol
Drugs
Distractions
and any uses of the above you could
Ever think of.
It breaks you down.

What is this mystery entity that we live with everyday?

Pain is definitely something that puts ALL of us out of sorts. Your poetry states it well :)!
