Healing

Contributed by LoveStruck_Hippie on Monday, 18th July 2005 @ 01:32:40 AM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Open your eyes
Let me see inside
All the secretes you've
Tried so hard to hide
Allow me to enter places untold
Beginning a journey of healing
Layer by layer heart unfolds
Revealing a deeper feeling
Remove the mask,
break down the walls
The beauty within begins shining
Surrender to the whispered calls
Between your heart and mine
Allow our unburdened souls to soar
Two hearts reunited will be divine
Faith, trust and honesty the cure
For all that ails the heart and mind

Open your eyes
Let me see inside

If he opens his eyes ..how does that allow You to see?
just a little question ... you could maybe say ..

open your eyes and look deep inside ..
don't allow yourself to hide .. or something ..

A very healing poem indeed. There is a soft loving quality to this poem. I depict a tone of reverence and hope, a gentle encouraging without any demands.

A beautiful poem, Shannon

Kind of ironic that we both did a poem on healing, albeit they're very different focus. This is a beautiful poem with a good rhythum and flow. A wonderful message about letting your guard down so that you may be united in a closer and loving union.

A very pleasant read, well done Shannon

Will/Terry

Shannon, Loved your message here. Beautiful write. I have a sweet hippie deadhead friend named Shannon that lives out in Pennsylvania. You made me think of her. Loved the write. Thanks for sharing, my hippie sister, Laura
