Our Names Carved on an Infested Tree

Contributed by jyssvw22 on Sunday, 17th July 2005 @ 07:42:57 PM in AEST
Topic: oops

At the time
There looked like there was no other way
There seemed to be only one solution
We thought it through
That had to be what he had to do

Forget this
Peg me as your scapegoat
As your rag-doll, worn -down winter coat
You accuse me, well I say it was you!
Well, excuse me! but who the hell do you think you are talking to!

Hold up now
Where do you think you are going
Think you can just say that and leave
Think I’m gonna’ just sit here while you pee-
On my back, and tell me the rain fell like dew this eve

No need to worry
Your gonna’ be just fine and dandy
Let the perverts wine you, then lick you like trailer park candy
Dine you, until your nice and hefty
Then discard you
Kinda’ of the way you threw me

For a loop
But hey, no hard feelings
Now I get the gossip scoop
It was in the cards,
Just not sure who was doing the dealing
At the time, long ago, before the discard
Right in this very spot
Hovered a soul searching
Convulsing while sin purging
Getting exactly what he got
Everything he wants
And nothing was his response

Spew that venom. Shout it out. Rant and rave. In the end it won't make a difference anyway. This makes a great piece of reading. I like the subdued anger in it, cool.
