I Will Bring My Kisses

Contributed by MomentInTime on Sunday, 17th July 2005 @ 06:36:44 AM in AEST
Topic: fantasy

Well here's a letter: the first one you've received,
and my handwriting I hope is clear enough to read.
I've written words that rhyme, and have given them a beat,
now would you reckon that I'm really kind of sweet?

You have a photo that I've sent you time ago,
and if you hide it you won't see me any more.
But should you keep it where my eyes can clearly see,
you will know for real who you're looking at is me.

There is no hurry to gaze into a lover's eyes;
there is no hurry when time will sweeten the surprise;
there is no hurry, it may take a little while,
but in the meatime, you can dream a lover's smile.

Since first we spoke you've gone from cool to mild:
there is nothing better than suspense to drive me wild;
and you wonder if we ever met what I would do?
Well, I will bring my kisses and leave the rest all up to you.

Jordan, this is so touching. I feel the soft gentleness in your soul and heart. She is a very lucky lady, I must say.

virtually speaking ...nice write. I've found that because of the misinterpretation of things; not knowing inflection and what not .. feelings get hurt unnecessarily sometimes .. so be careful; walk on tiptoe ..

    -- awww, this was so sweet!

    Loving the structure of the poem, the rhyme, and the way it all flows so smoothly...

    Touching!
