Life Doesn’t Matter
There was a boy that I once knew
His story I must tell to you
He had a good life
But he was blue
Because he was waiting for his wish of true love
To come true
He wandered near and wandered far
His sadness slowly growing ajar
But at last
he thought he found the one
He gave away his tender love
Only to be hurt and shunned
But the pain only made his lust grow stronger
He searched for love for even longer
And while his search for love went on
I sat with him and kept him strong
For I know something he did not
I loved him even though they did not
but he still did not notice me
Even though I tried so hard to make him see
He told me he liked her
That she was the one
When he found out she wasn’t
He tried to grab the gun
How could he be so blind to see
How much he was adored by me
I said them softy
But bold enough to hear
I told him I loved him
And that he was all that I held dear
He backed away from the loaded gun
And this time I was hurt and shunned
You see this story didn’t end well for me
No happy ending filled with glee
He didn’t love me and never saw
How much he mad me smile in awe
One shot was fired
And now he’s gone
But I make it seem like he died don’t I ?
Well I don’t want to give the wrong impression
The gun was held by my right hand
And against my head I let it rest
I saw the smile in his eyes
So I pulled the trigger and said goodbye
Now I am gone
And to this day
I will regret
Wanting the love I’d never get

Very bold in your choice of words, but truely heartbreaking enough to read over and over. I really really like this...

Honestly, this poem was quite interesting. However, I think that it is too demanding for attention. Still a very good poem. |
