I am alone all hours,
When the moon clashes through midnight darkness
To wonder asleep through my lonsome gates,
To feel cold with lonlyness from the nights air,
And to know what it feels like to be without,
I am alone all hours
When the light of the sun warms my blankets,
Through my dusty window in the morning rays,
Still waking up alone and cold from that nights air,
Wondering when i will feel love in my heart,
I am alone all hours,
During the high noon sun once again,
Sitting alone with my fork and plate,
Chewing on something I quite dont remember,
But all i can eat from my own hearts starvation,
I am alone all hours,
Once more through the evening,
Taking my head into my hand with tears upon my cheeks,
Wondering what in my life i have strayed to,
Thinking about the times i have in dreams,
I am alone all hours,
Once again through the moons glow,
Wishing upon that one star,
Wanting more for my life that i dwell,
Striving for another time, to love and cherish you.
