There are dead that walk among the living
I know, I'm one of them
My heart beats, eye's blink
but yet no spark no feeling
day in and day out.
if only i had the power..
to go back to that day and hour
when my flame was extinguished
If only i could make it so.
so now you have proof..
The dead are among the living
i'm one of them.

Such a sad poem... I know what that is like.... Try to find comfort in friends and family, and you will be alright. It is always sad when things like that have to end, but you will be alright.... :)

hmm...what do i think of this? Well, for one, I can relate. I too know how it feels to have the sinking feeling of being nothing but a mindless, wandering zombie. Now, i got the impression from the line"the day my flame was extinguished" that someone broke your heart. Once again, I can relate. Great poem, keep up the good work.

Great poem... I like the way you wrote rhyme into it, but in no special form, and it doesn't detract from the flow at all. The emotion (or lack thereof) within the poem is also well done. The last lines are especially powerful.

What is it that makes you feel sad and dead?
