Take The Chance

Contributed by NoSaint on Friday, 15th July 2005 @ 12:08:41 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Lonely the heart
That never opens
Sad the spirit
That never soars

Fear of pain
Foils freedom
Locked in self-made cage
Lost to joys

Pity the soul
That never lets loose
And takes the chance
Of loving

Without the bitter
We would not know
The sensuous flavor
Of the sweet

Without daring
We are shells
Of what we could
Achieve

Fly soar high
Love with all
Your heart
Dance the dance

Take the chance

It takes a big personality to dare take chances in life and accept the "losses" or "wins" that it might bring. Nothing is certain and we only know if we take the chance.

Feel close to this one atm as I am meeting me new love tomorow for first time. Just got out a bad marriage and taking a chance with this one. Tho still a lot of hurt on me end but I feel this person is worth the try.
So I will Dance the Dance and take the chance ;-)

Lovely written!

Hugsss,

Nats.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!! You have us all beaten my dear when it comes to few and fewer words. You can say more with just a couple, and they really make good sense. I just can 't explain to you how my thoughts and my heart soared as I was reading this!!!
Live, live, live. Be alive, and feel it all. Don't miss one minute.......it will be gone forever more! I've always lived not just each moment, but each second. I'm a glutton, I didn't miss a thing, even when it was bad, I run it through my heart several times, felt, it, lived through it...........and then got on with living and feeling each second all over again!
I pity those that haven't the courage it takes to live...............they will die unfulfilled, but some like it way. Not me..........when I go.....my whole grave will be filled!!!!!
Warm love
consue
See how you inspired Shari..........I must write all this down and write a poem about just loving to live! Yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeego for it!!!

Oh how very lovely, Shari. Yes, when you suffer hurt it is so easy to hide away and say 'never again.' I did at first. Now I have learned that I would rather dance and take the chance than miss out on another beautiful love in my life. Life is so short, it should be as happy as possible. Beautiful words, milady.
