Let nature and politics
take their course
The Bush baby languishes,
a now spent force
Taking punches
From the right and left
This chimpanzee
now so bereft
A liar, a fraud,
a coward and a cheat
More monkey than man
who now looks at defeat
Should we feel sorry
for where he is now?
He created this hell
so take Bush, a bow
Your act was sleazy
and caused such harm
The rep of America
created alarm
Besmirching her name
in every way
It’ll take generations
to wipe it away
In future years
we’ll look back and blink
That a man such as this
didn’t use a shrink
The mess he is causing
is beyond belief
This failed little loser
and election thief
America’s name
has sunk to new lows
By a crowd of bigots
in political clothes
How many years
will it take to be clean
From these spirits of darkness
and minds unclean?
Let nature and politics
take their course
The Bush baby languishes,
a now spent force
Taking punches
From the right and left
This chimpanzee
now so bereft

Steeleyes, you've been told before not to call these blatanty partisan pieces patriotic poetry. It's political poetry, that is ALL. You are entitled to your liberal worldview, but patriotic poetry is something that all parties can agree upon. This is most certainly not.
This is not a personal attack, please don't construe it as one. But we have to keep the site correct in its specifics.
