Broken

Contributed by xXDreyXx on Friday, 15th July 2005 @ 01:29:00 AM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Walking down the street
Hearing every step

Knowing I was there
But she ignored me

I knew she heard me
Every tear dropping

But on I walked
Never to breathe again

Saw my soul fade away
Slowly but very surely

Fate brought us together
Now apart for good

I did scream my fears
And showed her the scars

Kissed her one last time
Then went to face death

She followed me
I pushed her away

Tears fell
And so did I

Hitting the blood
Knowing I was gone

Saw from above
That she did really love me

But to late to go back
Too late for takebacks

Told her I loved her
Told her I cared

But no longer alive
Makes my entire life

Good-bye forever angel
I'll forever miss you

This is so sad. A great love lost. It's a tragedy when we love wholeheartedly only never to get it back in return. Good luck to you on future endeavors. This poem was wrought in emotion!
I loved it!
Angel always...joni
