abstract
|
rough edged; bumped like a gravel road.
further in I feel the smooth cool lines
of mortar and clay. my fingers slip
and stumble into the dark holes.
after traversing the holes, I re-enter the
gravelly desert. scratching my feet with anvil
hands. here my journey ends as it began.
