The True Virtue Of A Man
______________________
Here I stand in front of you
What do you see?
Can you see a man of virtue
Or a man with his hands held open?
Can you sense the warmth that is inside my Heart
Or the scars that has been placed on it?
Will you enter through the door that I hold for you
Or will you close it shut to stop the breeze?
I offer unto you the virtue only a man can give.
The love, the hope, the desire is yours to have.
So Walk through the entry way I hold open
For only a man of virtue is waiting for you to enter.

I really like this and I can't believe that 18 people have read your work and not bothered to comment. It only takes a minute folks.Anyway,Yes I can see the warmth in your heart. We all tend to take people at face value and we should learn to see below the surface and walk through that door.Well Done, Ros. |
