they showed up in my tummy
the same day I met you
They fluttered about there
made me feel you'd be true
Each time our eyes met
I'd feel them move
A touch on my face
is all you had to do
Then one day I noticed
they were not there
Why did they leave
My tummy's so bare
I miss the butterflies
Wish they were here
I miss you too
but you made them dissappear

This poem was so simplistic yet so very much was said. Oh I have to quote, I have to!
"I miss the butterflies
Wish they were here
I miss you too
but you made them dissappear"
Does it get any more honest than that? I truly enjoyed, felt and wanted to read more of this poem.
The only word that really stood out was "dissappear" because I noticed it was misspelled. That is truly a minor thing.
I think we all miss the butterflies when they are gone. Yet, we remember them..
