When I come around.
-Quiver & tremble-
When my permanent frown is painted upside down.
-Quiver & tremble-
When you see my face.
-Quiver & tremble-
When I put you in your place.
-Quiver & tremble-
When no one is around.
-Quiver & tremble-
Every time I come around.
-Quiver & tremble-
When you think of what I may do.
-Quiver & tremble-
When Christ shall not hear your silent cries.
-Quiver & tremble-
As blood fills your eyes.
-Quiver & tremble-
As I slowly make a slice.
-Quiver & tremble-
When you roll your life’s last pair of dice.
-Quiver & tremble-
When I tear your heart out.
-Quiver & tremble-
As I rip your insides out.
-Quiver & tremble-
As I tear your beating heart from your chest.
-Quiver & tremble-
As you watch the rest.
-Quiver & tremble-
As you take your last gasp of air.
-Quiver & tremble-
When you know this is not fair.
-Quiver & tremble-
As you see my hateful eyes.
-Quiver & tremble-
When you see my silent cries.
-Quiver & tremble-
When you think of what you could have done.
-Quiver & tremble-
As you drink your last bottle of rum.
-Quiver & tremble-
As you beat me with it.
-Quiver & tremble-
When I ask you this…
“Daddy, why couldn’t you just read me a bedtime story?”
-Quiver & tremble-
As you slowly die…
