Sometimes…
At night I see your face
Those cold, hard eyes
showing no remorse for what
you were doing
Sometimes…
During school I relive the pain
Having to run
to the bathroom to be alone
Because I cannot pretend to be alright
Sometimes…
I wish that I were dead
Because it seems to be
the only way to escape
what you did to me
sometimes…
I wish that I was strong
That some how I could
get the control back
in my life
Sometimes…I wish you would be the one who hurt

wow.. this poem is really close to truth i was raped when i was like 6 and still 8 years later its so hard to forget...great poem keep writtin and trying to deal with it.. i think that u really need to have friends around that care bout u to support u.
and as u said remember u r not alone.. |

Wow... the last line really got to me I liked this poem a lot it was so sad and very well written contrary to what u said. Ppl who do that to children... well I have no words to say to that. Your not alone though remember that. Keep up these poems I have found writing poetry is like medication. Keep yer chin up and sometimes tears can be healing.

| i know how u feel. i was also raped when i was 9 and it has been 8 long years. this poem spoke to me. thanx for sharing it... the man that raped me called me from jail, hoping that i would testify that i forgave him... to this day i cant forgive him especially because after he raped me, he killed my friend. anyways thanx for posting, it feels good to know that others have gone through similar experiences. |
