To our brother, our father, our friend
To you who make us sing
With sounds of choirs divine
To you who brings us comfort
With love you deeply share
To you who fills our souls with joy
And happiness without bound
To you whose selfless sacrifices
Make life all the more worth while
To you whom we trust
With our secrets untold
And to you who makes us cry
With weeping tears of broken hearts
As we suffer the pain you bring
With a softly spoken word, goodbye
Dearly we hope you will call us by name
If we chance to meet again
But you we will not forget
Not through time, nor eternity
For you have embedded yourself in our hearts
And there you will always stay
To our brother, our father, our friend
