Sweaty body,
Water drippin’
Skin warm,
Ground hot to touch,
No one told me…
The madness of Texas heat,
The sky clear to watch,
The wind blowing hot air,
Thirsty is what I feel,
Drinking cold lemonade,
But I do not get satisfied,
The heat beating the forehead,
Spreading allover the body,
Trying not to breathe the hot air,
Wishing for a winter weather,
But only the heat I feel,
Looking for a way out,
But the vibe of Texas is good,
That’s the madness of Texas heat.

You get used to it after a couple of seasons. That is what a/c and pools are for. Did everyone tell you "oh, it's not the heat that is so bad, it is the humidity"? lololol
