I love you, in earnest and not in lie
Upon the bright stars in the sky
I wished you’d love me too
Though I know it’ll never come true
I miss you, with all of my being
As my love is never fleeting
Needing you here by my side
And all the pain you can subside
I need you, by my side eternally
Although it may hurt internally
Yearning to tell you of how I feel
But it’s a dream, not made to be real

Love poem. Unrequited love does hurt. Hopefully the real thing will come to you soon. |
