Upon A Star

Contributed by blue_angel on Tuesday, 12th July 2005 @ 10:09:36 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

All alone with so much regret
My memories wish to forget
Crippled by my past remorse
Into darkness am I forced
Tearing through my open heart
Ripping my poor soul apart
Blinking through my falling tears
Reliving fifteen painful years
Reassurance within doubt
This is too hard and I want out
Black encircled around my eyes
Outlining each raindrop in the sky
Eradicate my futile existence
Let me let go of my persistence
For carefully carved into my life
Are my miserable memories of my strife
Let me wish upon a star
Take away my every scar
I don’t want loneliness anymore
I don’t want things like before
Give me fulfillment, please make it fast
Give me happiness and I plead make it last

Well done jennie. strong is the feelings that you wish upon. I too have those thoughts, but the way you describe them is brilliant. It only takes but one wish... ~justin~
