I Know You're Out there

Contributed by MMISS on Tuesday, 12th July 2005 @ 09:18:14 PM in AEST
Topic: happypoetry

I know you're out there
Even though we've never met
I've been down on my knees in prayer
asking God to send someone to care

I know you're waiting
For me , just like I am for you
And in time The Lord will let us meet
But there's some refining He has to do

Someday soon I'll see the one
God set aside only for me
But in the meantime I'll be in prayer
As I kneel down on my knees

He promised that He would grant
The deep desires of my heart
That's why I'm waiting here for you
I've trusted Him right from the start

I know you're out there
Someday you'll come to me
as long as God is in this
We'll stay together till eternity

You know I'm out here
Waiting just for you
I'll be on my knees in prayer
and I know you will be too

The last two stanzas made it feel more lyrical like it was the beginning of a song.

I loved the title and the feel of this poem and what you had to say.

I hope you find the person you are waiting for.

Best regards...:)

Kie
