Wouldn’t you love to get away?
From what’s inside
I don’t want to tell you this but
I don’t know how to.
It’s like you’re building up for something
The laughter escapes your lips
Tear your hair from the roots
Do you remember everything?
How you were once alive.
How time slipped away?
How you said our love would never die?
You said that you understood
And that you would take care of me.
But that’s such a lie.
It’s funny how my pain brings on tears
And laughing
My tears will always be meaningless
