Today I Let Go

Today my heart broke, as I finally let go,
of the person of whom my heart loved so.
Saying goodbye was such a hard thing to do,
but nothing compares to a life without you.
The sorrow I feel will be slow to fade away,
as I struggle to get through each single day.
I'll never understand the reasoning of God's will,
though I know I must continue to believe in him still.
For these is a lesson that's waiting here to me,
that life's so very precious, and time is not free.

| That was such a touching poem that im sure brings back memories for many of us readers.It is hard letting go.But i believe that u never let go of someone-if that someone is still in your heart! |
