Rebirth

Contributed by FleurdeSang on Monday, 11th July 2005 @ 08:15:02 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

The moon woke me with a tender kiss,
Pallid loneliness radiating from her solemn smile,
Neon static numbers mouthing,

3:00 A.M.!! (A familiar song…)

With their hoarse voices of silent restlessness…
My child fingers itched with anticipation,
Yearning to weave expressions of moonlit inspiration,
Longing to paint a picture of you
With your technicolor eyes of bittersweet mystery,
Slowly undressing me… naked and vulnerable…
Every shrouded flaw, every hidden desire…

EXPOSED…

I remember…

Your breath of cherries and lust, intoxicating,
Words spoken in silence caressing the edges of my sanity…
I wonder each passing moment…
What lies behind those clouded orbs of eternity?

Divine intervention found in a touch,
Flames of passion and adoration lick the curves of my heart,
Burning down the walls surrounding my soul, my sacred palace,
Where every thought and emotion sleeps tranquilly…

Today, I was reborn,

Rubbing the residues of crusty slumber from my dreaming eyes,
Yawning at the dreariness of Yesterday…

Just by thinking of you…

Amazing poem my dear. I love the first line
and how you personify the moon that was
just wonderful. I just all around loved how this
was written. I'd say more but I'm really tired. I
hope the hurricane isn't affecting you.

Miss talking to you,
Joel
