A jungle deep
To never sleep
All green and gold it seems.
The mice and beast
To fawn and feast,
With so much life it teems.
A beach of white
In ocean's sight.
For the eye is sea so far.
The wise will learn
The unerring burn
Of our churning, wrath-wrought star.
A forest fair
Spectral to bare.
With leaves of yellowed red.
Its winds and trails
Beneath a veil,
So whelmed in leaf its bed.
A winter's night
In blue and white.
A calm yet biting chill.
The soul to sieze
With frost and freeze,
And render hearts to still.

This is an AWESOME write Joe :) Really brought out memories of each season for me!
Spring.... buds on trees, baby critters, the first sweet glimpse of grass after a hard winter...
Summer ... a mob of beet-red bodies, crammed on the beach...
Fall ... the sweet warm smell of dappled sunlight as you crunch through the fallen leaves
Winter...one nasty a** cold night...ugg! lol
Very well written!
