Love Struck

Contributed by Aaralyn on Monday, 11th July 2005 @ 01:04:41 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

I’ve been struck by Cupid’s arrow
My resistance is going down
I would be so much better off
Without you around.

All you do is hurt me
I don’t understand why
What did I ever do to you
That makes you want to make me cry?

You make me very happy
And I am thankful for that part
But then you make me feel
Like I have a hole in my heart.

I hate the way you make me feel
But love it at the same time.
I’ve gotten to a point in my life
Where nothing anymore is fine.

I’m sick of feeling like this
And of being so confused.
You got the love that you wanted from me
I’m starting to feel used.

The games you play with my heart
Are screwing up my head.
Sometimes I think I’d be better off
If I could just be dead!

What do you want from me?
What do you expect?
You’ve picked apart all that I am
There is none of me left…

I hate how you make me feel
But I love it at the same time.
I’ve gotten to the point with love
That it’s making me lose my mind!
