I Cry With You

Contributed by kodiak_2312 on Sunday, 10th July 2005 @ 10:41:18 PM in AEST
Topic: Grief

I Cry With You

I heard of your irredeemable loss
Much larger than a broken vas
I know the pain
Of your friend going down that lane
Please know I cry with you

She was a silhouette at sunset
Much more than someone's pet
She taught you courage with out fear
And always lent a devoted ear
Please know I cry with you

So very bright in the mind
She'd get you out of a tight bind
Your partner for many years
She was trained through all the gears
Please know I cry with you

I knew it must have been tragic
To lose your dear old Magic
Know that she is now at peace
Frolicking with many geese
Please know I cry with you

very nice...i think you should give it to your neighbors...it might seem more heartfelt that you waited so long...it means that you've been thinking of there loss for some time..as they undoubtedly have.

Yes u should.
Your neighbor will probably put it on the wall with their favorite picture of the horse.
Very touching.

Lovely write. What a caring neighbor you are. You must show them this, for I am sure they will treasure it. Peace to you. Laura
