The distance grows in every way
Each moment that we are apart
I think about you every day
The girl enshrined within my heart
When you get hurt, I feel the pain
Our souls' connection true and strong
When you're not here, I feel the strain
Like half of myself, though live, is gone
The silence leaves my mind in doubt
About the way you truly feel
I fear I cannot live without
The love that makes my life seem real
I only hope that you still see
That you and I are meant to be

An amazing sonnet in that the flow was undisturbed..
your longing is very evident..
great discipline.. and write.

Beautiful.
I especially liked the first stanza, really drew me in.
A write from the heart indeed.
Well done to you. |

A Sonnet! Oh, I do love a good sonnet so thank you . I love writing sonnets, I must confess iambic pentameter can create quite a challenge for me from time to time, i sometimes just forget about it, but i think you did a good job with it. I only ask you for some end punctuation, maybe a comma or period so it reads better. |
