As It Washes Over

As it washes over I cry,
As it washes over I die,
As it washes over I weep
As it washes over I sleep.
Sadness cascades over my world,
In my heart lays a black pearl,
Opening up to heartaches call,
Walking blindly into another fall.
The grip I had over reality has gone,
Swam away in a meaningless song,
Drifted along a careless stream,
Died silently with many a dream.
Everything I was has disappeared,
Swept away in my dying tear,
Floated off into a black cloud,
Screamed in my face, screamed out loud.
I become a slave in my land,
As my pain takes hold of my hand,
Willing me to let darkness prevail,
Hear me die as my soul sets sail.

stanza it goes together and the rest

I love it.... i think this is the best type of poetry i have ever read, iono why but i love this poem but i think my poems are losing sumthin and iono wut that is, but yours are great ... and inspire me to keep trying so i'll keep at it and mayb i will love my poems as much as i loved this one

i wrote a coment and it glitched so here i go again pix . . .
this poem has a centerness, as though it was pulling me in as i read it and had no will 2 rezist, u never loose it pix, and u never will
