Two Fairies were whispering ,
A magical buzzing filling the air
Two of them stood hovering
Not seeing me there at all.
Their fluttering translucent wings keeping them aloft
One looked young,
Like a student .
The Other a Older Male
With Years of Teaching.
They checked out the Fairy House
I had just added this spring
and spotted a new addition
A Birds bath .
And they playfully went for a dip .
Just the right temputure
And there came
a gentle Tinkling .
As the Pink Tiny Lady bells began to ring.
Then Suddenly from out of nowhere
A Whole Swarm.
Red ones, Blue Ones, Yellow and Orange
Wings Flapping and Simmering .
Mixing and Blending their colors
all a whirl .
Laughing and more whispers of glee
and Fairy Tom Fool A Re :-)
The setting was a corner in behind of my Elder tree
Bushes heavy With little tiny buds
of delicous Raspberry
The ground beneath alive with
Onions and two potatoe plants
and a chive plant or too.
Cats wandering in and out
Birds flying by.
Lots of commotion through most of the morning
As the Suns beating down
Coz of the building of a Garage too Ya see.
and of course the Fairy folk
which only appear to me .
But still in these scant few moments
The fairies Come freely
And I sit and watch
Forever Marveled and Content
Just Happy and Watching
being me.

Sounds like a perfectly lovely day to me. I could spend every day like this. I love it. Fairies do love water. They play around our rock pool all the time. At night we sit and watch the magical lights they display in and out of the water. Splendid write.

I have loved fairies all my life and couldn't live without them...I see them too in the garden(or want to)how blissful and delightful your poem is!I loved it ...it took me back to childhood days when flowers were fairy dresses and my imagination was all I needed to be happy...bliss!!!
Thank you.
