A kiss of death
Is what you gave,
For you and me
It meant the grave.
Why murder something
We held dear?
My love for you
Was oh so clear.
A friend you were,
Though slightly more -
A baby brother
One I adore.
Your passion
Was astounding though -
Shocked me, haunts me,
Don’t you know?
The memories
Of your hands on me…
Can’t believe
I didn’t see.
I loved one way
And you another,
I wanted love
And you, a lover
Love is true
In all its forms.
My love for you
Would ride this storm.
You choose to let this
Be the end
So I cry goodbye
My love, my friend.
