Forgive Me Kindness

Contributed by justintears on Sunday, 10th July 2005 @ 12:10:45 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

We're ending on the day at hand
Forgive me kindness, I'm but a man
A sky lacking heaven, my eyes turn away
My mouth dried to dust, I've nothing to say
Collecting dim stars that melt with the sun
Redemption in tears, those feelings are done
With fewer restrictions, her bitterness right
As I stand in her shadow to admire the light
Heart broken her promise, "together we'll be"
Her breathe holds deception as I drown in her sea
Laid back to my rest in apathy's arms
Each heartbeat departing with heavenly charm
For what can be done except to let go
And search for true light in the heaven I know
Angelic completion I wish i had felt
I smile at the kindness in the tears which I've knelt

I skimmed this the first time and then read it aloud the second time. The title really caught my attention. Pain shadows, yet resonates in a high pitched sound that I hear, I really do.

I am somewhat taken back on a comment.

Which means it is excellent.
