There you came like a stranger in the night
You spread your wings and flew into the light.
You danced around the beam, you danced around with might.
Why do you have a crave for something that’s so bright?
Tell me dragonfly.
You sat there on the wire, the light still on your face.
You stood so still in silence, you stood right there with grace.
Why do you ask for sunbeam, when you come out at night
What’s in it that’s so strong, enough to hypnotize?
Tell me dragonfly.
