The Time Stands Still
I am tired of the waiting.
Why can't these days just fly by
So that I can depart from the rules of others.
The time stands still.
To wait to arouse
Looking forward to that day.
When I am free from the wrongs in my house
The time stands still.
Waiting to succeed is painful.
What will the day lead to?
I can't wait to be learing what I think is right.
To go out in the world in peace
And do what is right.
The time stands still.
