Skinny

Contributed by imagenuinefake on Saturday, 9th July 2005 @ 05:12:44 AM in AEST
Topic: obsession

What does it take,
To have that thing?
What does it take,
For me to be thin?

I purge,
I starve,
I rid myself of it all.
But what else does it take?

I cry,
I stab,
I feel.
But what else does it take?

Will I ever feel this way?
Will I ever be so flawless?
Will I ever turn away?
And will I ever learn regardless?

I try my best,
To be so thin.
I try my best,
And still, I never win.

For it not being you, you seemed to have captured the essence of someone with an eating disorder.

i find it annoying when i come across with people with eating disorders..
only because its so hard to help them.
to refuse something we crave so naturally to live
is just not in my logic..
great write x
