It Eases the Pain

Contributed by xxSuicidalChickxx on Saturday, 9th July 2005 @ 03:45:08 AM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

I cut myself at night
To ease the pain of life
Sometimes I use a razor
And times I use a knife

The blood that comes out of me
Might be a sin
But it takes away
All the pain that comes from within

Cutting always helps
The pain throughout the day
But the scars will last forever
They’ll be there to stay

My scars remind me
Of why I put them there
They help me remember
That’s its not just a scare

I don’t do it for the blood
Or for fun
I do it cause I'm sad
And I want my life to be done

Over with, gone
Ill see you in hell
Where we can be together
There's no need to yell

Or scream so loud
That I'm pulling my hair
I can hear you fine
I know life's not fair

So just quit your *.*.*.*..ing, yelling, screaming
I told you what to say
When you cant stop cutting
Just tell yourself that things will be OK

its scary how many people feel this way...it helped me so much to know that i wasnt the only one, that there were others that cut and wrote and wasted away inside...keep writing, it helps and you have a way with words
