Last Kiss

Contributed by Essentially9 on Friday, 8th July 2005 @ 08:08:01 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Last Kiss

I blow a kiss
To a memory
That I'll miss
For eternity.

Silver linings
Have faded
By dreams lying
And being jaded.

Dreams don't come true
Like I've wanted them to.

Hopelessness
Isn't missed
With dreamless
Bliss.

Memories are forgotten
When waking sadly
To the dreams begotten...
Yet, still not to be.

Last stanza's best..
but I think maybe,
you owe it to yourself..
in this write,
to bring a tad more..
(not sure of what..)
especialy in the second..

but it did have that "old world" feel that I love..

All in all, a great write Jen..

A worthy poem with a rather unique style. A romantic theme, which seems to focus on saying good bye. You have a talent to say a lot with fewer words.

Excellant write, Jennifer

Also, thanks very much for your comments on my poem, Hidden Horrors

Will

Your poem just twisted me inside. I felt for you and I have no idea if it was reality writing or an impressive imagination. You write with the talent of a natural to poetry.

I'm in awe at the moment.

It was also flawless.

A very nostalgic piece...I like your emotions in this write; more delicate than usual. The first stanza was a great opener, and I really liked the last two as well.

This was an interesting poem but written beautifully. You have a way with words and they all flowed wonderfully in this piece. Great work, sorry this isn't much of a comment its about midnight and I haven't had much sleep lately... enough of my life story... great poem lol I'll be excited for more to come,
