I wish you understood, just how I felt
How when I talked to you, I put off everything else.
I wish you took my hand, listen to all of my words
But then again, I understand, what I don't deserve.
I'm sure you wish to be left alone, no pain left to be shared
Although I know you don't love me; I want you to know, I care.
I wish you and I could at least be friends.
I wish that wish was true.
And though we never get what we wish.
I'll always be wishing for you.

this is a great write and I can completely relate to it from the other side. I'm the one who was hurt and my ex is the one who still cares for me. My advice, be patient, they may just need time to mend their heart..but never stop wishing for their friendship...anyway great write...and if you ever want someone to talk to, you can pm me..
