Lost in Myself

Contributed by Inevitable on Thursday, 7th July 2005 @ 09:32:37 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

Nothing happened between us.
That's what I always say,
But I know the truth.

I am not innocent.
He made me do things.
He made me.
And that's what people don't understand.
I didn't want it
and now I need it.

I'm lost.
Lost in myself.

I try to reflect upon who stares back at me through the mirror.
It's a girl who seldom cries in front of others.
A girl who plays it cool and laughs.
But when she looks at herself,
She thinks she's ugly, fat and a nothing
Just a toy to be used.

She's lost,
Lost in herself.

This girl keeps everything inside
because they all think she's strong
She can't be broken.
But she is.
And she'll never be the same again.
The mirror holds lost, lies and constant hours of tormented truth.

Everyone is lost,
Lost in themselves

Vanity will kill us all
and hatred will make us bleed
While the truth that I am weak
and have been used numerous times,
will forever burn me.
Because...

I'm lost,
Lost in myself

I felt every word Inevitable:

"I try to reflect upon who stares back at me through the mirror.
It's a girl who seldom cries in front of others.
A girl who plays it cool and laughs.
But when she looks at herself,
She thinks she's ugly, fat and a nothing
Just a toy to be used.

She's lost"

you are not lost..
just a bud..waiting to blossom my friend..

Thoughts and prayers to you-

Billy
