''Thoughts this path brought me to''

Contributed by waynster on Thursday, 7th July 2005 @ 08:30:46 PM in AEST
Topic: Lifepoems

Sitting here, I wonder
About the path I have chosen
Thoughts seem a bit blurry
And are a bit frozen

It seems like destiny
Has a fate for me unknown
For this path I have chosen
Is leaving me feeling so alone

Even though this is my feeling
I have 3 kids to love me so
They only know that I’m their daddy
And they need my returning love to make them glow

There is such a negative charge
Pushing down on my soul
It seems to be this place I’m in
Feeling like I can not go

I am at a point
Where the pressure is too great
I feel the need to travel
To seek my true fate

A Sagittarius I am
Born under the sign of the sun
I only want to travel
Away from my family I will not run

When life gets to a point
Where a person has to wonder who they are
It is truly a time to evaluate
The path they have traveled thus far

I know I have an absence
My mind tells me so
On the 14th of July
It will be time to go

I will return
When my freedom allows me to
I love you all
And promise to come back to you

A very touching write....

"Even though this is my feeling
I have 3 kids to love me so
They only know that I’m their daddy
And they need my returning love to make them glow"

This reached out and grabbed me....
