Where is the face in the fire ball?
Where is the whipping boy to beat,
the punching bag to brutalize,
while the sane agonize,
over the loss of a few more casualties?
Another coward carves another tomb
out of concrete tunnels when the train goes boom.
Slithering in caves, preaching jihad,
no back bone, no warm blood,
no message from God
could give rise the demon to perfrom his own deeds.
Just reap the idealistic and destroy the seeds.
Another speech will be made today.
We will find them, make them pay.
Another patriotic soldier will go to war.
Enlisted in fervor before he's sure.
Again a coward will hide his face.
Too afraid to die, but not to erase
one nation's feeling against a race.
Months will come, years will last,
tears will fall as the seventh comes past.
For it will mark when we listened in unison
to the news reports when the trains went boom.
Much love and my sincerest prayers.
