There once was a girl
Who lived in a house of locks
But, no keys
She was always alone
And always asleep
But once day her dreams ceased to come
And her eyes began to open
And she realized
That she was lost
With no dreams to guide her
And no doors could be opened
She was trapped
On her own
In her own
Creations

I like the abstractness of this poem. The idea that the girl was trapped by the own creations of her mind is unusual. I've never seen anything like this. I like the way you think. Keep posting! |
